Matt Higgs is an award-winning music photographer and videographer based in London and available for commission internationally.

Photography

Matt has toured Europe and the UK with acts including Loveless, The Blackout, Hot Milk, Generation Sex (Billy Idol and Sex Pistols), Punk Rock Factory, Florence Black, Ellie Dixon and Rita Wilson producing photography, videography and social content on the road for instant publication to passionate fanbases. Other clients for show and promotional imagery have included Van Morrison, Hundred Reasons, Hands Like Houses, Tailgunner. His work has previously been published in magazines and newspapers such as Metal Hammer, Rock Sound, Kerrang, Clash, NME,  Hello, The Telegraph.

Festivals

A regular feature on the official photo and video teams for major events, Matt’s work has been used to promote many of the nation’s biggest festivals. These include The British Grand Prix, Download Festival, Bloodstock, Field Day, Snowbombing, Tramlines, Big Feastivle, Wychwood Festival and Secret Garden Party. As a freelancer he’s worked for acts and agencies at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Hellfest among countless others.

Videography

From producing and directing music videos complete with live audio, to on-the-fly social clips for instant sharing - Matt is comfortable handling a wide variety of video roles, teams and budgets on commissions. As a freelance videographer he’s captured concert footage for acts including Bullet For My Valentine, Papa Roach, Sleep Token, Bloodywood, Wargasm and Jeremiah Fraites (The Lumineers) solo or as part of multi-cam teams, as well cam op’d on livestreams and at events for bands and festivals.
